Embedded Internship Opportunity
We are looking for passionate learners who are eager to explore the world of Embedded Systems. About the Role
As an Embedded Systems Intern, you will gain exposure to both hardware and software development. You will assist engineering teams with testing, debugging, prototyping, and documentation across various embedded technologies.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Embedded Software Developers and Hardware Engineers.
- Perform end-to-end testing, identify issues, and report bugs.
- Collect, analyze, and document data with clear, structured reports.
- Assist in designing and testing PCB boards, sensors, and embedded components.
- Support component selection, inventory management, and preparation of BOMs (Bill of Materials).
- Assist in debugging hardware and software issues during development and testing.
- Contribute to the creation and validation of embedded prototypes.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of basic electronic components (ADC, DAC, microcontrollers, processors, digital logic, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of IoT concepts and hands-on experience with IoT devices.
- Familiarity with RF technologies such as LoRa or Zigbee (preferred but not required).
- Understanding of communication protocols: I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, Ethernet.
- Experience using bench test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and RPS.
- Basic knowledge of programming in C/C++ or Java.
- Experience with Arduino IDE or similar environments.
- Familiarity with basic PCB design concepts (preferred, not mandatory).
- Ability to debug hardware/software issues and perform structured testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good teamwork and communication abilities for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
