PCB Design Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a talented PCB Design Engineer to design and develop high-quality printed circuit boards for advanced electronic products. This role requires strong schematic design skills, PCB layout expertise, component selection, and understanding of signal and power integrity. You will work closely with hardware, firmware, and mechanical engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of PCB designs into complete systems.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, passionate about electronics, and stays updated with the latest PCB technologies and industry standards. Your work will directly contribute to creating efficient, reliable, and manufacturable electronic products.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop PCB schematics and layouts using industry-standard tools.
• Create and manage footprints, symbols, and libraries for components.
• Select suitable electronic components and ensure availability for manufacturing.
• Perform signal integrity and power integrity analysis for stable and reliable designs.
• Optimize PCB designs for manufacturability, testability, and industry compliance (DFM, DRC, DFT).
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and mechanical teams to integrate PCBs into final products.
• Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to meet technical and project requirements.
• Document schematics, layouts, design guidelines, and testing procedures.
• Stay updated with new PCB technologies, standards (like IPC), and design best practices.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of PCB design fundamentals and electronic components.
• Experience in footprint and symbol creation for PCB components.
• Familiarity with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or KiCad.
• Knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity, and high-speed design principles.
• Understanding of PCB manufacturing processes, tolerances, and design constraints.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of IPC standards or similar industry guidelines.
• Experience with Git or version control systems is a plus.
